Shadow Days
Become a Cyclone for the day! Prospective students may visit Sacred Heart- Griffin High School and experience a day in the life of a Cyclone. SHG students offer a great introduction to our school’s culture and atmosphere. We can’t wait to welcome you to campus!
Open to students currently in 8th grade or high school students interested in transferring. The student may pick who they would like to shadow, or they can be paired with someone with similar interests or learning levels.
The day of the shadow, the student is to report to the main office (1200 W. Washington St.) at 7:45 a.m. to meet their shadow mate. Students will not be allowed to carry a purse or a bookbag during school but may keep one at the front desk if needed. Cell phones are absolutely not allowed to be used during class time. The student may wear comfortable, appropriate clothing (no tight-fitting clothing, holes in pants or yoga pants), and lunch will be provided from our cafeteria. They may be picked up at the end of the school day at 2:25 p.m.
Shadow Days are generally available on Wednesdays and Thursdays from August 26 - May 9.
